Self-styled comedy terrorist Aaron Barschak has arrived at the Witney count - wearing a long white robe and crown of thorns.
The independent candidate, who infamously gatecrashed Prince William's birthday celebrations in 2003, said he wanted to raise awareness of asylum seekers.
He said: "Both my parents were asylum seekers and the way we treat people in this country has to stop.
"We must close Campsfield House and help these people.
"We must ditch the 14-day fast track system because we are sending people back to hell holes and more than likely a death sentence."
"I chose Witney because it is high-profile, a global billboard for my message.
He added: "It is a publicity stunt because I want to raise awareness. I don't expect to get many votes."
Security staff found a rubber lobster among Mr Barschak's possessions when they searched him.
