Leafield's Super Aguri F1 team has announced it will unveil its new car at the German Grand Prix in Hockenheim on July 28.
The team's new car was originally planned to debut at the French Grand Prix, however a series of events have delayed the launch by one race weekend.
A team spokesman said: "Chief technical officer, Mark Preston, has been noticeably absent from the Canadian and US Grands Prix in order to ensure that the SA06 is completed as soon as possible. The team is delighted to confirm that during this time the SA06 has passed all the required FIA crash tests.
"The initial SA06 design and build schedule with a deadline of the F1 race at Magny Cours was extremely tight and with no margin for delay in any area of production. The schedule was first affected by a delay in the decision on the specification of gearbox the SA06 should use.
"A further delay in the SA06 schedule ensued when all model testing halted for five days due to a technical problem at the wind tunnel facility last month."
