Members of the Ruscote, Hardwick and Neithrop neighbourhood are being invited to attend a special community event this month.
The event will be taking place in the Town Hall on Saturday, May 15, between 10.30am and 2.30pm.
Police said the aim of the event was to promote community involvement with the Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG), giving people the opportunity to raise any issues they may have and feed that back to their local policing team.
Sgt Kate Beckett said: “We want to get more members of the local community involved in the NAG and this event is a great opportunity to meet people face-to-face and tell them about how they can make a difference to their communities.
“There will also be members of partnership agencies there on the day that will be offering information on the services they provide and answering questions.
“I would also like to hear from any other organisations that operate in the local area, who haven’t yet signed up to take part in the event, and who would like to come along on the day.
“Or anyone who can help us promote the event to the wider community, or who would like to help us with the organisation of the event on the day.”
Anyone who would like to get involved in the event can do so by contact Sgt Beckett via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505.
