“Only the Green Party keeps its focus on social equality and the environment at the heart of all policy-making, rather than an add-on at election times.
“The Greens have campaigned for the retention of community hospitals, funded through taxation, rather than the profit-making private sector.
“Our Green New Deal would address the economic and climate crisis together, creating 1 million new jobs in manufacturing, renewable energy production, insulation of buildings, public transport and affordable housing.
“We will fight against NHS cuts, and promote maternity services and NHS dentistry.
“We have campaigned against incineration of waste, unsuitable commercial developments on public land, and for the protection of green spaces, such as Radley Lakes, Warneford Meadow, and the Trap Grounds. We will continue to campaign for genuine proportional representation, where it is fair that a party who receives five per cent of the national vote receives five per cent of the seats.”
