Gordon Brown visited Mini in Oxford today to launch Labour's plans to grow the economy over the next five years.
Mr Brown was joined by his wife Sarah as he toured the factory in Cowley.
He announced Labour plans to invest £1bn to secure the future of British manuafacturing and attract further investment.
Mr Brown also said Mini was a good example of how a committed work force could pull together to come through a recession.
