Football will be the theme at an Oxfordshire school fete as England take on Portugal in the World Cup quarter-finals on Saturday.
Two pieces of soccer memorabilia will be going under the hammer at the Manor Primary School fete in Didcot, including an England shirt signed by Michael Owen.
The striker may be out of the competition because of a serious knee injury, but headteacher John Hawkins still believes it will excite a lot of interest.
It is one of two shirts donated by parents, the other being a Reading Football Club shirt signed by the 2005-6 Championship-winning team.
Mr Hawkins said: "If England end up winning the World Cup, this shirt will be priceless. We're very grateful to the parents who have donated the two shirts."
The auction is in aid of school funds and bids can be made on the day, but it is also open to the community.
Sealed bids of more than £50, containing contact details, the lot and the amount bid, should be sent to The Manor Primary School, Lydalls Road, Didcot, OX11 7LB, before Saturday.
In keeping with the football theme, pupils will perform a special World Cup dance at the fete.
There will be a football competition, a chance to pit your penalty-taking skills against an Oxford United goalkeeper plus other stalls, rides and refreshments. The fete will run from noon to 2pm.
