A crack cocaine dealer has been ordered to pay back more than £9,000 under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
Rohan Sutton, 27, left, of Three Fields Road, Wood Farm, Oxford, was jailed for six years after he was caught by police with about £3,500 worth of the drug.
Yesterday at Oxford Crown Court, Sutton was ordered to pay £9,081.16p by August 23. More than £2,300 must be repaid within two weeks.
Judge Anthony King told Sutton that if he fails to pay he will be jailed for six months, to run consecutively to his current sentence.
Sutton was found guilty in a trial of one count of possessing crack cocaine with intent to supply and one of supplying crack cocaine at trial. A judge recommended Sutton, who is Jamaican, should be deported.
Sutton was arrested on July 21 last year, when police said 2.05oz of crack cocaine was found in Magdalen Wood, Wood Farm.
After Sutton was sentenced, Det Sgt Dave Herniman, of Oxford CID, who led the investigation, said: "This is the end of a long and involved operation and investigation into one of Oxford's worst dealers in Class A drugs.
"Rohan Sutton was responsible for the sale of crack cocaine to hundreds of people throughout the city and his sentence is a fantastic result."
