Union members at the Didcot distribution depot of supermarket giant Asda are to stage a five-day strike in a dispute over pay and bargaining.
Members of the GMB union at more than 20 distribution centres around the country, including Didcot, will walk out from June 30, theatening disruption to supplies of goods to Asda stores.
The depot, on the town's Southmead industrial estate, employs 396 people.
Union leaders said the strike would be followed by a "comprehensive programme" of industrial action until collective bargaining between the union and management is recognised and a £300 bonus owed from last year paid to workers.
Asda's people director, David Smith, said: "We're doing everything we lawfully can to make sure our customers won't notice a thing when they're shopping at our stores.
"If the GMB wants to talk, we're always willing to get back round the table.
