BICESTER & North Oxford remain rooted to the bottom of the Division 2 table after losing by six wickets in their basement battle at home to Basingstoke & North Hants on Saturday.
The hosts batted consistently to reach 212 all out in the last of their 60 overs.
But Basingstoke the only other team in the division without a win before the start of play raced to victory with more than seven overs to spare.
It already leaves Bicester facing a tough task to avoid finishing bottom.
Put in to bat, Bicester lost the early wickets of openers Darryl Woods and Gary Sansome.
However, the middle order rallied well, although the lack of a major innings was to prove costly.
Krishnan Talsania was the top scorer with 36, as the experienced seamer Chas Chandler captured five wickets.
Talsania struck an early blow when Basingstoke batted.
But the other batsmen were able to score freely, especially off Talsania's brother, Shiv, who conceded 31 runs from his 14 balls as the visitors raced home.
Bicester are now 12 points adrift at the bottom of the table.
