More than 300 cannabis plants with a potential street value of tens of thousands of pounds were found when police raided two Oxford properties this morning.
The dawn raids, involving two teams of nine police officers, were carried out simultaneously just before 7am at Lenthall Road and Rivermead Road in Rose Hill.
As well as finding hi-tech cannabis plant growing equipment, small shrines containing offerings of oranges and bananas and incense sticks were also discovered at both houses.
A man aged around 20 was found inside the Rivermead Road house and arrested.
A second 19-year-old man was arrested outside the Lenthall Road house after he pulled up in his red Vauxhall Astra about 30 minutes after police entered the property.
