Kevin Baker hit a superb 16 dolls, including two sixes, as the Cricketers gained a well-deserved victory at home to Squire Bassett in the Premier Section.
Cricketers set a formidable 36 in the first leg, the Squire managing only 25 in reply, despite a fine maximum from Ray Townsend.
Squire then levelled with 31 in the second leg, Cricketers falling seven short.
But led by Baker, the Cricketers stormed past their target of 19, amassing an impressive 32 dolls to ensure victory.
Ray Townsend hit 14 dolls, with Barry Townsend chipping in with 13.
Seacourt Arms gained their first win in Section 1A with a 3-0 victory at Cowley Workers.
Mick Rockett and Robin Charlton led the way with a dozen dolls each as they took all three legs 21-18, 24-21, 28-23.
Anchor man Nick Chapman was the hero for Duke Of Monmouth as they enjoyed a 3-0 win at home to The Star in Section 2.
Chasing scores of 18 and 20 in the first two legs, Chapman was left needing a five and a four to snatch victory, and he duly obliged to give The Duke a maximum win.
He finished of with a four in the final leg to top-score with 13 dolls.
Democrats had a fine 2-1 win at Marston British Legion in Section 3, with 18-year-old Daniel Thompson showing his elders the way.
Thompson hit a six in the first leg to help Democrats take the leg on three sticks after the scores ended 18-18.
Despite losing the second 20-15, Democrats rallied well to take the decider 20-17.
In Section 4, lead-off man Mark Buckland hit 4-4-4 to steer The Plough to a 2-1 victory over Kennington Social Club.
Despite falling behind after losing on three sticks after the scores were tied at 21-21, The Plough easily levelled with a 25-17 second-leg success.
The final leg was a nail-biter as The Plough set only 15, but Kennington could manage only 14 in reply.
Team Monarch's Keith Bull went from one extreme to the other in their Section 6 clash against Chandos Arms.
After smashing off a perfect six in the first leg, he failed to trouble the doll in the second before rallying well to finish of with a four in the final leg.
Monarch eventually ran out 2-1 winners, 21-17, 14-15, 15-12.
The Blackbird came away from The Star Eynsham with maximum points after a 25-11, 17-15, 17-11 win.
Craig Beal top-scored with 11 dolls, and was well-supported by Garry Rees's ten dolls, which included a six.
Ray Peachey was in tremendous form, hitting 4-3-6 for The Lord Kitchener as they only just got the better of Vikings Sports.
After losing the first leg 20-16, they took the second 20-17 and scraped home in the decider 14-13.
In Section 8, The Red Lion Islip beat leaders The Nut Tree 2-1 thanks to anchor man Neil Brook, who clanged off an impressive 4-6-4.
