CHIPPING Norton's Jack Taylor hit a superb unbeaten 102 to set up an emphatic 187-run win over Blessed George Napier (Banbury) in the Oxfordshire Under 14 League.
Taylor's terrific ton helped Chippy post 223-4, and then BGN were rolled over for 36.
He also made 54 as Chipping Norton beat Gosford Hill (Kidlington) by 35 runs in the Oxfordshire Under 15 League.
His half century took Chippy to 124-3, before Gosford Hill were bowled out for 89.
Taylor's younger brother, Matt, was also among the runs for Chipping Norton, hitting an unbeaten 51 but it couldn't save his side from a 25-run defeat by Warriner (Bloxham) in the Oxfordshire second round of the Bunbury Under 12 Cup.
Chippy were held to 97-8 after Warriner had posted 122-2.
Abingdon's Stephen Poland returned figures of 5-8 as Oxford were shot out for 13 in the Oxfordshire second round of the Lord's Taverners' Cricket Colts Under 14 Trophy.
Abingdon knocked off the runs for the loss of one wicket.
In the Oxfordshire Under 13 Cup second round, Harry Ebsworth (3-7) and Ashton Curtis (3-8) did the damage for Burford as they beat Carterton Community College by 105 runs.
They sent Carterton crashing to 49 all out after Burford had rattled up 154-3.
