Rail passengers suffered major delays today with no trains running on the Chiltern Line between Bicester and High Wycombe.
The cancellations were due to a signal failure between Bicester and Saunderton, near Princes Risborough.
A reduced service ran from High Wycombe to London Marylebone, with services from Birmingham and Banbury terminating at Bicester North, where there were replacement buses running between Bicester, Haddenham & Thame Parkway, Princes Risborough and High Wycombe. Buses also replaced trains between Aylesbury and Princes Risborough.
