Two crashes in two hours caused long delays to traffic on the A34 near Abingdon today.
A lorry and four cars were involved in the separate accidents near the Marcham interchange. In the first, at about 5.30am, a car were in collision on the north-bound carriage way. Neither driver was hurt but debris from both vehicles was scattered over part of the carriageway and traffic was delayed while the road was being cleared.
Later at 7.30am, three cars travelling south were involved in a collision. One driver was slightly hurt but did not need hospital treatment. The road was partially blocked and traffic delayed for nearly two hours until the damaged cars were removed.
