A 17-year-old has been arrested after a spate of graffiti in the Eynsham area.
The teenager's arrest follows the launch of a crackdown on criminal damage by police in west Oxfordshire three months ago.
Last month, eight people were arrested in the district over 21 alleged incidents of criminal damage, many affecting Witney, Eynsham and Standlake.
Scott Evans, neighbourhood manager for the Eynsham area, said the boy's arrest came after graffiti was highlighted as a priority concern by the village's recently-formed neighbourhood action group.
He said: "The group was delighted that we are making progress in arresting individuals and dealing with graffiti."
He said youth and community officer Pc Chris Skae had also visited Eynsham's Bartholomew School to speak to students about the impact damage and graffiti and could have on a community.
