HORSPATH sneaked to a two-wicket win at home to Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts with five balls to spare.

A good team effort had taken Nondies to 241 all out. Ian Mead (48), Aviral Gupta (45) and Matt Baggs (42) all batted well, while Mohson Rana took 4-45.

Robbie Eason's 51 saw Horspath off to a decent start and, despite the nagging off spin of Sanjay Vinjimoor (4-46), the home side crept over the winning line.

Aussie Will Tuffley smashed an unbeaten 51 while Ian Belcher raced to a quickfire 42 as Cumnor 2nd overwhelmed leaders Dinton 2nd.

Dinton chose to bat first, but could manage just 163 all out on a good track, with only Michael Higgs (54) enjoying the conditions.

Cumnor then charged to a six-wicket win with more than 20 overs to spare.

Hanborough are closing in on the leaders after they amassed 262-8 on their way to a 120-run win at Sandford St Martin.

Rob Lovick (64) and Neil Rose (45) did much of the damage, while Sandford generously donated 38 wides and a total of 53 extras.

Charlie Sterling took 4-80 for the hosts, who then crashed to 142 all out.

Oxfordshire Under 15 ace Shahbaz Alam outshone his father, Aftab, in Morris Motors Exiles' three-wicket home win over Kimble.

Shabaz hit 66, his father chipping in with 41 for Exiles, who recovered from 178-7 to pass Kimble's 230-7.

Lee Griffiths scored 84 and Damian Tapping 48 for the visitors.

Musarrat Ali Baig hit 104 as Cropredy declared on 275-6 from just 46 overs.

Syed Zaidi chipped in with 40 and then took 3-26 as Wolverton Town were rolled over for 128.

James Coleman took 4-20 and Dave Dickie 3-14 shone, while only Jake Yeo (43) put up much of a fight.
