Dave Green was in sparkling form for Black Swan with 15 dolls as they beat Section 2 leaders Star 2-1.
After losing the first leg 23-19 they came back well to take the next two 19-17, 22-18.
Littlemore BL remain equal tor after their 3-0 win at New Club Wheatley. Gary Coulthard top-scored with 13, and was well supported by Steve Bayliss and Steve James with 12 .
It was not unlucky 13 for Red Lion's Barry Gilding as they came away from The Democrats with a 2-1 win in Section 3. Bryan Munt chipped in with a dozen.
Donnington Club inflicted the first defeat on Marston British Legion.
Donnington took the first leg on a three stick shoot-out and went on to take the next two legs 18-15, 16-13. Steve Tooke top-scored with 11 dolls.
Only two points separate the top nine teams in Section 5.
Whitmore Arms boosted their title chances with a 3-0 win at home to Quarry Gate.
The hosts set the first leg with 19, but Quarry's anchor man Pete Kennett whipped off five dolls to take it to three sticks before going to a one-stick shoot-out.
Whitmore came out on top and then took the next two legs 20-17, 21-14.
Pete Coates led the way for White House B with 14 dolls as they edged out Chandos Arms in Section 6.
Chandos's anchor man John Fitsell whipped off the four needed to take the second leg by the odd doll. But White House stormed the final leg 20-15.
