More than a thousand people flooded into Blenheim Palace on Saturday with one common cause - raising as much money as possible for Breast Cancer Care.
The national Ribbon Walk event, now in its second year, attracts everyone from teenagers to pensioners, and last year raised more than £700,000 for the charity - the UK's leading provider of information and support for anyone affected by breast cancer.
Spokesman Stephanie Brunton said: "It went really well and we've had lots of good feedback from people who took part.
"As a charity, we don't do clinical research - we provide support to those people who have been diagnosed with the disease and their families and all the money raised supports this.
"People who know people who have been touched by the disease recognise how important the service is and want to take part."
The event included a 10- and 20-mile route through the scenic grounds of the palace and was opened by TV and radio presenter Emma Forbes, one of the charity's supporters.
Ms Brunton said the charity was also holding another walk in the Peak District and hoped funds raised would total £1m.
