CHRIS Williams grabbed the winner as ten-man Oxford & Cherwell Valley College captured the Oxfordshire Under 19 Cup for the third successive year with a 3-2 victory over Marlborough School (Woodstock).

Marlborough had fought back from 2-0 down to level the final at Brasenose College, Oxford, only for Williams to head home after Dane Warne had headed Tony Njogu's centre back across goal.

Stephen Davis had given Oxford the lead after 35 minutes following a swift counter-attack.

Within five minutes, Oxford were reduced to ten men when Adam Lovegrove was sent off for his second caution.

Oxford went further ahead on the hour when Lance Williams ran on to a through ball from Jetmir Kamberi to slot home through the keeper's legs.

But Marlborough pulled a goal back when Chris Betreen scored following good work down the right by Aaron Posey.

And the Woodstock school were level within a minute when Posey battled through three challenges before firing home from the edge of the box.

Oxford weren't to be denied, though, and Chris Williams ensured they retained the cup.
