Nurse Benjamin Geen is due to be sentenced on Wednesday for murdering two patients and causing grievious bodily harm to another 15.
Geen, 25, of Orchard Way, Banbury, was found guilty at Oxford Crown Court two weeks ago of murdering Anthony Bateman, 65, and David Onley, 75 in January 2004.
He was also convicted of causing grievious bodily harm to 15 patients in his care between December 2003 and February 2004.
At the end of the trial Mr Justice Crane who presided over the case requested a psychiatric report before passing sentence.
During the trial the court heard how Geen injected patients with lethal injections because he enjoyed the thrill of resuscitating patients.
