F1 fans can win tickets to the British Grand Prix qualifying session at Silverstone every month by competing in the ELF Hot Engine Game on the TOTAL website www.total.co.uk
TOTAL has launched the arcade-style online game to celebrate its sponsorship of the Enstone-based Renault F1 Team, winners of the 2005 drivers' and constructors' championships.
To win the top prize, players must compete against the clock by racing a drop of Elf oil round the engine of a Renault F1 racing car to prevent the engine overheating. The person registering the fastest time every month will win two tickets to private Renault team test sessions to experience the thrill of F1. The top 30 runners-up each month will be sent a selection of F1-branded prizes.
Emily Ablett, TOTAL's events and sponsorship executive, said: "ELF and Renault have been a successful partnership in Formula 1 since 1968, and the recent Championship title comes as the reward for several years' tireless work and dedication to the task of optimising fuels and lubricants. The lessons learned from working with the world's leading racing drivers impact directly on the products available to our customers."
Further details about the game and prizes available are available online.
