Thirty-five firefighters were called to a blaze at a joinery on an industrial estate near Wantage this morning.
Staff on the estate at East Challow, off the A417 Faringdon Road, alerted crews to the fire at the Oakmead joinery at 7.10am.
Firefighters managed to control the blaze within an hour, and no-one was reported injured in the 50m by 10m metal and concrete unit, which was severely damaged at one corner.
Members of staff at the joinery were seen emerging from the building with bags of sawdust in the aftermath of the incident. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
