Henley Hawks slipped to 12th in National League 2 after a dour 15-8 defeat at Stourbridge.
All they had to show from the first half was a penalty by full back Mitch Burton as Stourbridge led 15-3.
Winger Ali Bressington notched their first try on 21 minutes before Hawks flanker Jon Tenconi was sin-binned.
Scores from Samoan scrum half Soane Havea and prop James Tideswell added tries two and three.
In complete contrast, Hawks the dominated the second half, but could not take advantage when Stourbridge flanker Tom Jordan was yellow-carded on 53 minutes.
Their try came after 65 minutes when centre Dave Tibbott fed winger Chaska Loubers, who went over.
