A nurse is facing a life sentence after being convicted of murdering two patients and wounding 15 others at Banbury's Horton Hospital.

Ben Geen, 25, of Banbury, was convicted by a jury at Oxford Crown Court today following a nine-week trial.

Geen injected his victims with unprescribed drugs to stop them breathing so he could get the thrill of trying to revive them, the court heard.

Two of them David Onley, 75, from Deddington, and Anthony Bateman, 66, from Banbury died.

Mr Justice Crane has ordered a psychiatric report before he sentences Geen.
