Tony Blair has been in office for 10 years. When he came to power, he said he would turn the country around, but look what a state we're in now.
He and Gordon Brown tell us we are the third richest country in the world, yet our health service is bankrupt, pensioners have to sell their homes to pay for care in later life and those who still work will have to soldier on until they're 68 to get a pension unless they change it again.
I thought Mr Blair was looking out for the vulnerable, particularly the elderly. Instead he punishes them. But then, generally, he always gets his priorities wrong.
He should concentrate on punishing the criminals the muggers, the benefit fraudsters, and the murderers who are sentenced to life, then come out after a few years.
How can we boast about ourselves as a nation when, in my book, the country is going to the dogs?
It's all 'back to front' those who work hard, lead decent lives and contribute to society get hit, and those who bring our country down get away with it time after time.
