OXFORDSHIRE'S Bea Swords and Melissa Hawtin came home with team gold medals for England from the British Schools' International Cross Country at Stowe School, Bucks.
Tackling a hilly 3k course in the under 15 girls' race, Swords (Headington) finished strongly in the main pack to take sixth place in 11mins 50secs.
She was the fourth England runner home with teammate Katie Holt taking place first place in 11.31 ahead of Scottish duo Beth Potter and Gemma Cormack.
Meanwhile, Hawtin (Gosford Hill, Kidlington) finished 17th in 12.16.
England took first place with 34 points, ahead of Scotland on 80, Ireland with and Wales on 142.
The under 15 girls' success provided part of a four-timer for the host nation, who also won the under 15 boys' race, and the under 17 boys and girls' contests.
