Sir, I feel sorry for the people of Jericho. They are going to have extra traffic from the Berkeley Homes development near the canal. How did they get permission for all the cars, the development just the other side of the railway from them, I think it is called Venniet Close, was not allowed car parking because it was supposed to be the policy of Oxford City Council to deter cars from the centre. That was about four years ago, have they changed their policy?
They are now trying to actively encourage it by trying to provide a health centre nobody wants nearly in the middle of town.
Then there is obviously going to be development at the Jericho boatyard, is that to include cars?
It will be an absolute nightmare trying to either cycle or walk down Walton Street. Come on city council. Please show some common sense!
