The family of a man who died in a head-on car crash has paid tribute to him as a wonderful, caring and kind person.
Andrew Bradford, 42, was only weeks away from celebrating his 20th wedding anniversary and birthday when he was killed in the accident on Monday near Islip, north Oxfordshire.
Mr Bradford, who lived in Chalvey Road, Bicester, was on his way to work when the accident happened just after 8.30am.
His family last night said: "Andrew was the most wonderful, caring and kind husband you could ever wish for and would go out of his way to help anyone. He loved spending time with his pets and had a great passion for woodwork and DIY. Andrew will be greatly missed by his wife, his family and all who knew him."
He would have turned 43 on May 12 and was due to celebrate 20 years of marriage on May 24.
The accident happened after Mr Bradford, who was driving a red Vauxhall Cavalier, attempted to overtake four cars on a bend. He ploughed into a blue Renault coming the other way and his car went up in flames.
The Renault driver, who is 53, had to be cut from his car by firefighters from Bicester and Kidlington. He was in a critical condition but doctors say his condition is now stable and making good progress.
He is still receiving treatment at the John Radcliffe Hospital for facial injuries, a broken foot and a damaged knee.
