A SPARKLING unbeaten 133 from Ben Humpage was the highlight of a
high-scoring affair between Abingdon Vale and Banbury 2nd.
Humpage was the mainstay of Vale's impressive 255-4, while Matty Latham also provided a handy 69.
Despite having wickets in hand, Banbury were unable to challenge the target,
although Mark Haupt (84no) and Nathan Hawkes (41) did take them to safety on 223-4.

A tense finish at Cumnor saw Great & Little Tew prevail by two runs.
Tew, asked to bat, struggled throughout against Gareth Brown (5-51),
finishing on a paltry 136.
But to their credit, Tew kept battling, and thanks to Sam Catling (4-26) and
Craig McCullum (3-31) pulled off an unlikely victory when Cumnor captain
Clive Ricks was trapped lbw, with just three runs needed.

Russell Turner (88) and Martin Middleton (45) took Bledlow Ridge to 206-5 at
home to Tidding- ton, which proved to be more than enough.
Riaan Krynauw hit 69 to give the visitors a chance, but Henry Hale entered
the attack to take 4-15 in 7.2 overs as Tiddington were bowled out for 142.

Sandford St Martin survived a few late scares to secure their first win at
the expense of Witney Mills.
After winning the toss, Mills never really got going, with Mark Cannons's 57
being the mainstay of their 169-7.
Nick Harrap then hit 44 for Sandford, and despite Steve Kelly's 4-77 and a
late flurry of wickets, they reached 171-7 with 17 balls to spare.

A splendid all-round display from their South African recruit Goolam Bhayat
set up Oxford Downs's comfortable victory over Wolverton.
Bhayat (5-42) and Tom Crouch (3-18) dismissed the home side for 144, before Bhayat hammered an unbeaten 82 in Downs's reply of 145-3.
