ABINGDON Vale 2nd's Paul Lemon hit a fine unbeaten 119 to lay the foundation for a seven-wicket win over Wolverton Town 2nd. With Phil Evans (58), he added 182 for the second wicket as Vale passed the 200-8 set by Wolverton, Richard Morgan taking 5-39.

The only two drawn matches in the top six divisions both featured Sandford St Martin and Bledlow Ridge, with Sandford having the better of the clash between the clubs' second teams. Their 199-7 featured 60 from Paul Tew, while Richard Dryden hit 50 in Ridge's reply of 164-8. Steve Cox took 6-50 for Sandford.

Dave Freeman's 84 not out took Great & Little Tew 2nd to a comfortable six-wicket win over Thame Town 2nd. Batting first, Thame reached 198-8 thanks to Steve Chowns's 48 and Gary Porter's 45, while Piers Myatt took 4-67. Tew reached the target with more than ten overs to spare.

Chris Jones (51) and Chris Jackson (61no) steered Oxford 3rd to 210-5 and victory over Kimble 2nd, whose 209-6 was down to Adrian Rose (67no) and David Richards (55).
