TIDDINGTON pulled off a remarkable victory over Great & Little Tew off the last ball, having been set 297. Their heroes were Riaan Krynauw, who hit 105, and Neil Smith, who smashed 78 from 34 balls to take his side to the brink of victory. Earlier, Smith had taken 5-67 in Tew's 297-9, which featured fine knocks from Crial Cullen (76) and Shane Faulkner (65).
To compound the visitors' disappointment, they were docked one point for their slow over rate.

Aussie Godlam Byayat took 8-69 on his Oxford Downs debut, but still finished on the losing side at Banbury 2nd. Jamie Perkin's 56 helped Downs post 176, Ian Adams taking 4-39. Byayat bowled fast and straight to claim all eight Banbury wickets to fall, but former Oxon opener Andrew Sabin (73no) defied him, taking his side to a two-wicket win. Downs' slow over rate saw them lose three points.

Only six wickets fell in a rain-affected affair between Sandford St Martin and Bledlow Ridge. Martin Middleton (87no), Andrew Binnie (61) and three dropped catches enabled Ridge to declare on 237-3. 195-3.
