TIGHT bowling by leaders Cumnor 2nd restricted Princes Risborough to 157-6, with only Tim Brooker (40) making a significant contribution. Cumnor then raced to 160-3 in the 31st over, with Malcolm Evans (48no) to the fore.

Second-placed Horspath also secured an easy win in the 31st over, defeating hosts Wallingford by nine wickets. After winning the toss, Horspath contained the home side to a modest 141-9. Graham Plested then made the most of an early drop, hitting 72 not out.

Andy Ireson (75) and Andrew Spindler (46) took Didcot to 213 against Challow & Childrey 2nd. Phil Cox took 5-46 for Challow, who were then reduced to 41-4 before Will Harvey hit 51 to get them to safety on 162-8.

Milton Keynes Park 2nd crashed to 84 all out at Brackley to suffer an embarrassing defeat. Lee Haughton (5-27) did most of the damage. Brackley had not fared much better themselves, as Park's Roger Hobbs took 5-34 to bowl them out for 101.

Buckingham Town 2nd clinched a two-wicket win over Long Marston in an exciting finish. Marston hit 178 all out (Mike Lyons 59), but Mike Tayl or (46) and Nick
Board (34 no) led Town home. Lee Beesley's 5-60 proved to be in vain.
