KIMBLE'S Khaqan Arsal took 9-44 against Leighton Buzzard Town but still lost! Arsal bowled out Town for 105 and hit 30, but Phil Whatmore, Lee Selfe and Anthony Francis each took three wickets as the hosts fell to 83 all out. Kimble 13pts, Leighton Buzzard Town 30 Leighton Buzzard are now top and Henley 2nd are second after they thrashed previous leaders Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts. Nondies were dismissed for a meagre 117, which Henley passed for the loss of only three wickets thanks to Matt Bull (40no) and Kevin Murray (50).

Andrew Wingfield-Digby (5-46) helped Bicester & North Oxford 2nd limit Aylesbury Town to 172-9. But the target proved beyond Bicester, who crawled to 120-7, despite Vinod Fazal's 59. Aylesbury Town 15, Bicester & North Oxford 2nd 6 Syed Zaidi took 6-105 from 25 overs then struck a half-century to help Cropredy beat Hanborough Put in to bat, the visitors reached 172-6 thanks to the burly Rob Lovick (51) and Dave Burgess (42). Pete Cooling (40) helped Zaidi along as Cropredy won by six wickets.

Another all-rounder to shine was Morris Motors Exiles' Faisal Chaudry, who took 4-38 and hit 45 not out in the five-wicket success against Dinton 2nd. Dinton struggled to 129 all out, which the Exiles passed in the 28th over.
