GREAT & Little Tew 2nd won a thriller by one wicket with three balls to
spare away to Bledlow Ridge 2nd.
David Wood (39), Malcolm Ashby (51) and Mike Stevens (42no) scored so
quickly that Ridge felt able to declare two overs early on 258-7.
Tew used nine of the 12 extra balls they gained as Dave Freeman (37),
Stephen Wilson (64) and Tim Catling (45) took them to 262-9.

Abingdon Vale 2nd gambled by asking leaders Banbury 3rd to bat first and
lived to regret it as the visitors racked up 252-5.
Phil Cooksey (71) and Ashley Pearson (75) enjoyed the warm weather more than
the fielders. Vale were then bowled out for just 116.

James Blackford bowled throughout for Kidlington 2nd and was rewarded with
figures of 4-42 as Kimble 2nd were dismissed for 131. Chris East then hit 45
as the home side eased their way to 132-3.

Gary Porter's miserly 15-over spell which leaked just 31 runs and yielded
three wickets restricted Sandford St Martin 2nd to 148-8. Paul Tew was
undefeated on 68.
Simon Smith then took 5-66 but Thame 2nd scraped home by one wicket.

Wasim Fayyaz took 5-24 for Wolverton Town 2nd, who bowled out Oxford 3rd for
a modest 145. It was a good job Jinan scored 63.
Town had no trouble picking off the Oxford attack, with Khan hitting 50 as
they clinched a seven-wicket win.
