MARK Ellison and Will Clarke added 234 in an unbroken second-wicket
partnership as Challow & Childrey made light work of chasing 239 to beat
Kingston Bagpuize on Saturday.
In a high-scoring match, Ellison (130no) and Clarke (100no) swiftly saw
their side to a nine-wicket victory.
Kingston had a big stand of their own as Rob Keates (114) and Dominic Pike
(77) put on 189 for their second wicket.
But once the partnership was broken with the total on 211 in the 41st over,
the Baggies subsided to 239-7.

Kidlington stay ahead of Challow at the top courtesy of their five-wicket
home win over Dinton.
The visitors started well after choosing to bat, but then slumped from 56-1
to 82-6. A recovery in the latter stages saw Dinton bowled out off the final
ball of their allotted 50 overs for 217.
Nawaz Ali (66) and Andrew Buckingham (65) then took Kidlington to 219-5.

Milton Keynes Park captain Graham Simpson took three wickets from his first
seven balls and finished with figures of 6-34 as Oxford 2nd crumbled to 123
all out.
Spinner Nick Packard played his part by taking 4-26, while Chris Thomas (59)
was the only Oxford batsman to show much resistance.
Park were briefly in trouble at 14-2, but James Sprittles (69no) helped the
home side to a seven-wicket win.
**Milton Keynes Park 30, Oxford 2nd 8
Stuart Hole took 5-64 then hit an unbeaten 54 in Shipton-under-Wychwood's
four-wicket triumph over Banbury Twenty.
Hole had Twenty in trouble on 99-5, but opener Steve Partington (79) led a
recovery with the help of Michael Thomas (46) as they closed on 231-9.
Jason Constable hit 47 before Hole took Shipton to 235-6 with 13 balls to
spare.
**Shipton-under-Wychwood 30, Banbury XX 16
Bourton Vale are now adrift at the bottom after crashing to an 82-run defeat
at home to Buckingham Town.
Vale put the visitors in to bat but the gamble did not pay off as Town's
Jonny Cater (68no) took them to 242-7.
Vale then subsided to 160 all out, with Chris Harris (4-38) taking the
plaudits.
