Banbury 2nd won off the final ball for the second home match running to maintain their ten-point lead at the top. Needing 36 to win from the last 18 balls at home to Abingdon Vale, they pulled it off by scrambling a bye off the final delivery. Vale recovered from 44-3 after 20 overs thanks to a 117-run partnership between Matt Latham (74) and skipper Ed Tilley (46).
Ian Adams bowled throughout to finish with figures of 6-96 as Vale closed on 178-9. Opener Ian Tew (57) led Banbury's response and, despite Danny Hartley's 4-73 from 22 overs, they sneaked home by four wickets.

Tiddington received a fright against basement boys Bledlow Ridge before winning by four wickets. Ridge were 58-1 when a break for rain reduced their innings to 40 overs. A partnership of 103 in 14 overs between Mark Middleton (74) and Kiwi captain Andrew Binnie (57no) took them to 210-4. After 11 overs of their reply, Tiddington were in trouble at18-2, but and Nick Pykett (69) and Alex Mackie (51) added 82 in the next eleven overs to set up the win.

South African import Goolam Bhayat again proved his worth to Oxford Downs as he crashed an unbeaten 116 out of the 156 his side scored without loss to defeat Wolverton Town.
Earlier, Wes Bartlett took 6-55 for Downs as Town were dismissed for 155.

New Zealander Geoff Walford hit 81 in Cumnor's 194-9 in 44 overs at Great & Little Tew. Gareth Brown then took 5-63 as Tew succumbed for 159.

Sandford St Martin's decision to ask Witney Mills to bat first backfired In Mills' 212-6 from 49 overs, Pete Claridge top-scored with 55. Chas Taylor (58) gave Sandford a flying start, but Steve Kelly (4-91) helped to dismiss the visitors for 159.
