Henley 2nd fell 20 runs short of victory in their crucial top-of-the-table clash at home to leaders Leighton Buzzard Town. The visitors' decision to bat first was vindicated when Michael Parker hit an unbeaten 101, although Tim Chamberlain took 5-62. Henley's slow over-rate was to cost them two points. In reply, the home side's David Rhodes (46), Adam England (74) and Kevin Murray (64no) gave them hope, but the target proved beyond them.

Hanborough's Joe Cockcroft (4-41) and Paul Rose (3-13) combined to dismiss Aylesbury for 80. Dave Burgess (38no) and Matthew Busby (35no) saw Hanborough home without losing a wicket.

Mike Bush hit 104 for Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts, but ended on the losing side as Bicester & North Oxford 2nd secured a three-wicket win. Bush received support fromStephen Schofield (53) as Nondies ended on 244-5, only for Rory Lyon (53) and Amir Azad (41) to see Bicester home.

Cropredy's star all-rounder Syed Zaidi took 7-36 and then hit an unbeaten 47 to take his side to a seven-wicket win at Morris Motors Exiles. Zaidi's efforts reduced the Exiles to 138 all out, and with the help of Pete Cooling (40), he saw his side home inside 30 overs.

Resurgent Kimble made it three wins in four games when they beat Dinton 2nd by two wickets. In reply to Dinton's 179-9, Matt Kelloway hit 51 and Phil Chanel 54 as the visitors reached 182-8, despite the best efforts of Shaun Smith (6-56).
