Sandford St Martin's last pair scrambled two runs from the final ball to bring the scores level at the end of a thrilling encounter at Wolverton Town. Eleven runs had been needed from the 50th over for the win, and a boundary early in the over from James Risbridger had brought the target within range. Earlier Asad Raja had taken 5-64 for Wolverton, while Jim Howe hit 45. Before tea, Andrew Watkins's splendid 102 was the highlight of the home side's 221 all out.

Oxford Downs' South African all-rounder Goolam Bhayat all but beat Great & Little Tew on his own. Bhayat hit 40 in Downs' 139 all out, then took 6-46 from 16 overs as Tew were dismissed for just 119. Danny Lee contributed 47 for Downs, while Lloyd Brock bowled well, taking 6-55 from 22 overs.

Neil Smith (5-93) and Jack Brooks (3-83) bowled throughout in helpful bowling conditions to set up a five-wicket win for Tiddington at Cumnor. Only Geoff Walford (43no) looked comfortable on a green wicket which gradually eased as John Mackie (46) and captain Jon Talbot (49) saw their side home in deteriorating light.

Abingdon Vale's weakness against the lower sides in the division was again laid bare when they collapsed to 147 all out at home to Witney Mills. Off-spinner Steve Kelly did the damage for Mills, taking 6-45 as Vale failed to capitalise on a decent start to their reply to the visitors' 210. Kevin Smith (78) and Pierre Lefort (48) both batted well for Witney, while Paul White took 4-66.

Chris Board took 4-45 to restrict Bledlow Ridge to 193-8 then hit 51 as Banbury 2nd stayed top of the table. Steve Beck chipped in with 54 to see Banbury to 195-5 in the 46th over.
