THE driver who was killed in a head-on car crash near Oxford on Monday was this morning named as Andrew David Bradford, of Chalvey Road, Bicester.
Mr Bradford was 43.
The accident happened about 400 yards outside Islip on the road towards Charlton-on-Otmoor just after 8.30am on Monday.
Mr Bradford, who was driving a red Vauxhall Cavalier, was involved in a collision with a blue Renault coming the other way.
The Renault driver, a 53-year-old man, is still receiving treatment at the John Radcliffe Hospital for facial injuries, a broken foot and a damaged knee.
