A driver killed in a head-on car crash near Oxford earlier this week was this morning named as 43-year-old Andrew David Bradford, of Chalvey Road, Bicester.
The accident happened about 400 yards outside Islip on the road towards Charlton-on-Otmoor, just after 8.30am on Monday.
Mr Bradford, who was driving a Vauxhall Cavalier, was attempting to overtake four cars on a bend when there was a collision with a Renault coming the other way.
The Renault driver, a 53-year-old man, is still receiving treatment at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford for facial injuries, a broken foot and a damaged knee.
