Ollie Murrey hit a half-century and took 8-64 as Banbury 2nd beat Tiddington to clinch the title and promotion to the top flight for the first time. Banbury never looked back after openers Andrew Sabin (58) and Ian Tew (49) put on 105 for the first wicket, having been asked to bat first Murrey, normally a first-teamer, hit exactly 50 to take the visitors to
243-5. Only Nick Pykett (57) had any answer as Murrey ran through the Tiddington line-up to bowl them out for 167.

Oxford Downs are now favourites to join Banbury in the top division after they beat Sandford St Martin by five wickets. Chas Taylor's 103 was the mainstay of Sandford's 188 all out, as his teammates struggled against Goolam Bhayat (5-69) and Richard West (4-45). Bhayat then hit 59 to set up Downs' reply of 192-5.

Bledlow Ridge climbed out of the bottom two for the first time since June by picking up their second win of the season. Paul Brzezicki, Andrew Binnie and Dave Bird each took three wickets as Wolverton Town were restricted to 187-9. Alistair Day top-scored with 54 not out. Skipper Binnie then hit an unbeaten 40 to take his side to 191-8.
Wolverton were docked three points for their slow over rate and sunk to the bottom of the table.

Geoff Alexander hit his third ton of the season as Cumnor piled on 267-4 dec in 45 overs at home to Abingdon Vale. Pinch-hitter Ali Morteza had given the innings a flying start with a
quickfire 55. Captain Clive Ricks then took 4-31 to roll Vale over for 133.

Craig Cullen smashed an unbeaten 124 as Great & Little Tew cruised to victory at home to Witney Mills. The visitors had set 167-8, Pete Claridge top-scoring with 63. Tew lost five wickets in reply, but Cullen ensured victory was theirs.
