The increasing problem of traffic congestion and pollution is multiplied by the number of unqualified drivers on the road.
I include road tax dodgers and those who persist in driving after a ban has been imposed.
This is symptomatic of a socially perceived right to drive on the roads, regardless of qualifications. The law remains tolerant of dangerous crimes like this, while spending a fortune of taxpayers' money keeping pensioners locked up for refusing to pay unjust council tax rates.
What a ridiculous country we have become. We protest more about a ban on hunting an animal no-one can eat. No wonder we are the laughing stock of Europe.
