Spartan League - Oxford City 1, Hanwell Town 1: Oxford City were left to rue the missed chances after allowing Hanwell to pull level three minutes from time in Saturday's Spartan South Midlands Premier Division game.

City went in front after nine minutes. A throw by Adam Durrant to Ray Spence saw the latter put in a telling cross for Andy Marriott to net with a well-placed shot.

They could have increased their lead. A corner from Mark Jones was headed against an upright, while Harry Burnley dragged his shot wide.

In the second half, Burnley had a further chance.

For the second game in succession City were denied the three points with a late strike when Hanwell substitute Keith Rowlands collected a loose ball and fired home.
