ABINGDON Town manager Keith Stopps will be aiming to have the same success against Blackfield & Langley as he had as boss of Milton United when his new club travel to the Wessex League side in tomorrow's FA Vase second qualifying round.

Stopps, who took over on Saturday following the sacking of Kevin Lloyd led Milton to an extra-time win against Blackfield in last season's Vase campaign.

Town will be without Ellis Langford (ankle), though Ross Tyler returns after missing last week's 7-0 FA Cup thrashing by Shrivenham, as he was at a wedding.

Stopps said: "It should be difficult, but I am quite confident we can get a result."

Witney United aim for a repeat performance at Budleigh Salterton.

They beat the Devon side 2-0 in last season's first qualifying round.

They welcome back several players who were rested in midweek for the Floodlit Cup victory at Almondsbury.

Jamie Cook, Lee Keyes, Mark McMeeking and Dave Tregurtha all return, while Steve Knight and Nando Perna have recovered from injury.

Matty Allen (work) is the only absentee.

Wantage Town, with seven straight victories behind them, entertain Sussex League Division 1 leaders Ringmer.

Captain Gary Swann is missing is attending a wedding, but Wantage are boosted by the signing of Matty Shelton, who has joined from Abingdon United.

Milton United travel to Ryman League Division 2 outfit Epsom & Ewell.

There are injury concerns for Simon Kenny, Paul Davis and Andy Heath, while Paul Taplin, on loan from Thatcham Town, will not be included in the squad at Thatcham's request.

North Leigh will be banking on home advantage when they host Combined Counties League side Horley Town.

Gary Murphy (ankle ligaments) is still sidelined, but Andy Helby returns from holiday.

Ardley United joint boss Ian Feaver is confident they can turn the tables on Oxfordshire rivals Carterton who visit Oxford Road.

Feaver, who runs the side with fellow boss Paul Berry, said that although Ardley were the underdogs, they would be going all-out to try and cause an upset.

"It's all down to who performs best on the day. Carterton are favourites to win, but I think we can give them a good game," said Feaver.

"We really want to do well in the Vase. Didcot have shown the way for Oxfordshire's teams."

Ardley will be without Alex Feaver, 18, who has completed a move to GLS Hellenic League Premier Division rivals Didcot.

Tom Green is on holiday, but Tom Goldthorpe is in line for his first game of the season after injury.

Bicester Town will be without four players when they host UCL Premier Division side Buckingham Town.

Ricky Smith is ruled out with an ankle, while Vinny Byfield, Steve Miles and Alwyn Thompson are unavailable.

Michael Beale is set for his debut after signing from Middle Barton.
