South West 1 - Chinnor 32, Oxford Harlequins 7: Matt Buckley proved too hot for Oxford Harlequins to handle as Chinnor powered past their South West 1 rivals at Kingsey Road.
The flying full back created both of Eric Brown's second-half tries with devastating runs and cut through the Quins line at will.
But for all Buckley's flair, it was Chinnor's imposing pack, who settled the game with three scores in 12 minutes before the break.
Quins dominated the first 25 minutes, but could not put points on the board.
This was in stark contrast to their clinical hosts, who scored through captain Paul Hennessy with their first meaningful attack.
Man-of-the-match Buckley joked: "The forwards kept the ball and scored a couple of tries and then they said to the backs 'you can have it now'."
Many of Chinnor's best moves came when Buckley created openings for the prolific left winger Brown.
Buckley said: "In training we've been trying to run off each other. He's quite hard to read, but we've been working well together."
A comprehensive Chinnor victory looked remote as Quins spent the first quarter deep in their half.
Winger Jez Tanner almost broke through as early as the second minute and No 8 Richard Binning was straight into the action on his debut.
Already without prop Paul Delange due to a family bereavement the night before, Quins lost hooker Dave Needham through injury on five minutes.
Chinnor had right winger Lloyd Hoogstander sin-binned, but still held out.
Quins skipper Andy Noyce missed a penalty on 14 minutes, but the visitors were made to pay heavily for their lack of cutting edge.
Chinnor had no such problem in the 28th minute when Hennessy piled over after they caught and drove from a five-metre line-out.
Quins were rocked and 5-0 became 12-0 soon after Charlie Mawle was yellow-carded for a high tackle.
Prop Ed Devine scored a push-over try from a maul that began on the 22 and Richard Williams converted.
Chinnor reached 17-0 before half-time when flanker Jon Brooks finished another forward surge, but they could have been further ahead.
Lock Andy Millburn was denied a try after the touch judge controversially ruled hooker JP Immelman had a foot out of play and Brooks wasted a tapped penalty.
Quins's hopes of a comeback died on 52 minutes with the best try of the match.
Williams cleverly fed Buckley, who broke clear and off-loaded for Brown to canter home in the left corner.
Chinnor prop Simon Matthews left to rapturous applause on his cameo comeback, while Quins replaced Owen Gustaffson with Alan Edington at scrum half.
Quins Kiwi centre Andy Henley was sin-binned on his debut before Williams's penalty made it 25-0.
Chinnor capitalised on 69 minutes as Buckley cut through on the right and Brown held off Tanner.
Williams added the conversion before Quins rallied.
They finally bagged a consolation on 79 minutes when Henley just managed to hold on to Sean Baxter's pass and Noyce kicked the conversion.
