Harpenden Town 0, Oxford City 6: Oxford City got back to winning ways by hitting Harpenden for six in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division on Saturday.
City, still smarting following their 1-0 defeat Aylesbury Vale in midweek, stormed into a two-goal lead inside the first four minutes.
Harpenden goalkeeper Ricky Perks fumbled Harry Burnley's cross in the second minute and Danny Keen made sure it crossed the line.
And City struck again two minutes later when Lewis Craker headed in Luke Brandon's corner.
Brandon then hit the bar with a header for City.
The visitors increased their lead two minutes into the second half when Mark Jones powered home a header from Omar Takriti's excellent cross.
Harpenden then had Perks sent off for handling the ball outside the area.
City keeper Carl Wilkins reacted smartly to turn Damien Burns's shot behind, before Justin Merritt's exquisite lob made it 4-0.
Ray Spence set up Harry Burnley to nod home for No 5. And the rout was complete when Burnley created the chance for Spence to round the keeper and slot in.
