Banbury United player-boss Kevin Brock will be looking for a positive reaction from his side when they travel to neighbours Brackley Town in tomorrow's FA Cup second qualifying round clash.
Last weekend, Banbury put in a poor display as they lost 1-0 at home to Southern League Premier Division rivals Chesham.
"Too many of our players had a bad day. Three or four were poor, which is not good enough," said Brock.
"So I am looking for a good performance on Saturday."
Brock, the ex-Oxford United winger, is relishing doing battle with Brackley boss and former U's defender Mike Ford.
Banbury boast a number of ex-Brackley players in their side, including striker Andy Baird, defender Wayne Blossom and midfielder Neil King, which adds extra spice to a game which is expected to attract a 1,000-plus crowd.
Brock said: "I know Fordy quite well, particularly through the non-league, firstly at Didcot and now Brackley, where he has done a good job."
Brock, whose side will be without suspended midfielder Paul Lamb, added: "Being an Oxford lad, the derby games against Swindon were always massive.
"As well as the supporters, a game like this is also for the players. A few of our lads have played for them."
Didcot Town are sweating on the fitness of four players ahead of their tough trip to Essex to take on Ryman League Premier Division side Braintree.
Paul Powell (knee), Grant Goodall (thigh strain) and Bradley Ward (hamstring) face fitness tests, though Patrick Malone (back) is unlikely to play.
"We are the underdogs, but if we play to our potential, I think we have got half a chance," added boss Stuart Peace.
