THAME United were comprehensively beaten 4-0 in their Errea Cup first round tie at Aylesbury last night (Tuesday).
Berkhamsted, who play at the same level, were far too quick up front for a Thame defence that was too often caught too flat.
Berkhamsted took the lead on seven minutes through Ben Porter, and Leon Gordon added a second ten minutes later.
Although Thame caused the visitors a few problems they could have no arguments with the half-time score.
And Berkhamsted confirmed their superiority with Chris Haldow adding two more in the second half, after 55 and 80 minutes, to complete a depressing night for Thame after their win at Stourport last weekend.
Thame didn't have any clear-cut scoring chances. The closest they got to finding the net was when the Berkhamsted keeper was penalised for picking up a back pass, but Alex Stewart blasted the free-kick over.
