Powergen Junior Vase: Ed Moore's extra-time conversion gave Oxford a dramatic 31-29 win in South West Round 1 at Tewkesbury and maintained their 100 per cent record.
The young fly-half kicked 16 points as Oxford edged past their Gloucestershire hosts, but it was the two he added to Mark Viner's try that proved crucial.
Oxford manager Will Brewer said: "We had five players missing from the team that beat Newbury 12-0 last week.
"We put a lot of youngsters out and they delivered the goods."
Scrum-half Jack Miller opened the scoring for Oxford, and Moore's conversion and penalty made it 10-0.
Tewkesbury led 17-10 at half-time, but two Moore penalties reduced the gap.
Trailing 24-16, the visitors looked finished, but they levelled through Kenny MacLennon's injury-time try.
Tewkesbury battled to the end in extra time, but it was Oxford, inspired by man-of-the-match Alistair MacLennon, who went through to round two.
Bicester had a far more comfortable passage, trouncing their hosts Harwell 61-3.
A ten-try fest saw new full back John Rollason cross over twice, while Dave Beaven's penalty was all Harwell had to show from a punishing afternoon.
Though Harwell, to their credit, refused to roll over, they had neither the skills, the speed or the fitness levels to match this rampaging Bicester outfit.
Bicester took the lead on eight minutes from a Pat Coogan penalty, before prop Sean Cooke powered over for try No 1.
Fly half Ross Kenny was next on the scoresheet and Coogan converted.
No 8 Dylan Evans added a push-over try before Coogan sent in Anthony Lewis.
Coogan converted this and Rollason's first try to make it 34-0 at the break.
Scores from scrum half Steve Risbridger and Rollason kept Bicester's momentum going before Coogan converted his own try after being set up by Jon Hicks.
Jason Smith and Granville Williiams completed the rout with tries nine and ten.
A late burst saw Wallingford avenge last week's league defeat to Gosford All Blacks with a 20-13 victory.
With ten minutes to go, the scores were tied at 13-13, but Wallingford's pressure paid off with a Derek Viljoen try.
Captain Olli Henderson added the conversion to finish the job against an All Blacks side featuring several enforced changes.
Gosford full back Ed Marno opened the scoring with a seventh-minute penalty before Henderson levelled.
All Blacks scored through right wing Tommy Newell, but a converted try saw Wallingford lead 10-8 at the interval.
Centre Don Jenkins broke the cover defence and fed prop Lee Blewett, who forced his way over from 20 metres out.
On 65 minutes, Gosford stole a scrum on half way and Newell raced clear to feed scrum half Tim Sutton. A Henderson penalty set up a tense finish.
In the 75th minute No 8 Peter Thorns drew the cover and fed Viljoen from a five-metre scrum for the decisive score.
Littlemore are also through after a 31-8 home win against Chesham.
A depleted Abingdon fought well, but slumped to a 37-0 defeat at Gloucestershire side Dursley, while Didcot lost 32-10 at Farnham Royal.
