The protesters who attacked Jeremy Clarkson must be very proud of themselves (Oxford Mail, September 12). In both protesting and attacking him, they have given him, his daft views and his TV programme an amazing amount of free publicity, and also bad publicity for the Greens.
More seriously, when are we going to see the violence escalate as with the anti-vivisectionists with letter bombs and more serious threats?
These well-meaning, serious people have stepped over the mark.
Clarkson reacted, according to the press, with humour. Own goal to the Greens, I think.
